The thing is that she earns about $6.50 a month, and sends the money back to her parents and eight other siblings. So she doesn’t have any money to go to a university. For example, over 30 percent Nepalese live on less than us $14 per person, per month. Eventually, Prena will need an organization to help her get a better school and into a university for her dream to come true.
Prena needs a better home. Prena makes 500 Nepali rupees per month ($6.50) which she gives to her parents. She lives in a cell-like space at the top of her house where she is employed as a domestic worker; but, there is crime. Murder, kidnapping, extortion, abuse, and threatening remains at a high rate. Crime was decreased in 2012, but increased in 2013. If she was with her mom, whom she trusts, she would feel safe and secured.
